Senior living is often thought of as a service, but at VitaHaven, we see it as something larger, an investment in infrastructure, people, and communities. Dignified eldercare strengthens not only the lives of residents and their families, but also the economies and societies around them. In Africa, where the conversation about aging has only just begun, VitaHaven is setting a new standard for what the future of care can look like.
Why Eldercare Matters Now
Africa’s population is growing and diversifying. While it remains the youngest continent in the world, life expectancy is increasing steadily, creating a demographic shift that cannot be ignored. Traditional family-centered models of care are becoming less sustainable as urbanization and migration reshape communities. The result is a growing demand for professional, reliable, and compassionate eldercare services.
Investing in this sector is more than meeting a social need, it’s about building sustainable systems that will support families for decades to come.
VitaHaven’s 15-Year Roadmap
VitaHaven has laid out a clear and ambitious 15-year roadmap designed to transform the landscape of eldercare in Africa.
Phase 0 – Foundation & Vision (2016–2025): From the first business plan to governance structures and seed fundraising, VitaHaven established the groundwork for a scalable model.
Phase 1 – First Campus (2026–2027): Groundbreaking in Abeokuta marks the transition from vision to reality, with a 15-unit campus and the launch of the VitaHaven Institute.
Phase 2 – Stabilization & Expansion Prep (2027–2029): Operations stabilize with strong occupancy, while expansion plans in Abeokuta and Lagos begin.
Phase 3 – Regional Scaling (2030–2031): A 165-bed flagship campus in Lagos and the launch of VitaHaven Digital expand both physical and virtual care.
Phase 4 – Continental Growth (2032–2039): Campuses launch across Nigeria and beyond, including Ghana, Angola, and entry into East or Southern Africa.
Phase 5 – Global Consolidation (2040–2041): VitaHaven evolves into a fully integrated eldercare ecosystem with over 2,500 beds, preparing for either private equity acquisition or IPO.
This roadmap shows a journey from vision to leadership, positioning VitaHaven not only as a care provider but as Africa’s first premium eldercare brand.
A Brand with Purpose

What sets VitaHaven apart is not just infrastructure, but philosophy. Our model combines real estate, healthcare, hospitality, and ecosystem spin-offs to deliver an experience where residents thrive and investors see measurable returns. By blending comfort, dignity, and wellness into every community, VitaHaven ensures that aging in Africa is not a challenge, but an opportunity for growth.
The Bigger Picture
Investing in VitaHaven is about more than bricks and mortar. It’s about reshaping how society values its elders, creating jobs, training caregivers, and building communities where people live with purpose. The ripple effect is profound: stronger families, stronger economies, and a future where aging is met with dignity rather than fear.
When we invest in eldercare, we invest in more than facilities. We invest in people, in families, and in the belief that aging with dignity should be Africa’s legacy.
